Lab Associates Receive High Marks from JCAHO

Indianapolis, IN (April 5, 2002) - Lab associates at St. Joseph Hospital and Health Center in Kokomo, IN, recently completed their Joint Commission survey and received a tentative score of 99!

In a message from Steve Linerode, Vice President Support Services and Corporate Responsibility Officer for St. Joseph, the associates were praised for their hard work and commitment to excellence. Mr. Linerode stated that this kind of commitment is "what makes St. Joseph a special place." He added that the high score was even more impressive due to tougher grading standards and the extended length of the surveys.

The TriMedx associates who helped make St. Joseph's JCAHO survey a success were Joshua Solomon, Dan Swain, Corey Bates, and John Jordan, Sr.

Joshua's primary responsibility was to ensure that the Lab PMs were 100% complete and to have all paperwork ready and available for the department. Dan filled in for Joshua while he was away at Air Force Reserve training. St. Joe Urgent Care was also included in the survey and Corey was instrumental in getting PMs completed for the unit.

After the survey, Joshua asked the Lab department manager if there was anything that they needed to do to improve. His response was, "Just keep doing what you're doing."
