TriMedx Visits Haiti... AGAIN!

Our mission is a simple one -- to help healthcare providers manage their medical equipment and reduce cost so that they may, in turn, further their mission. The healthcare providers we assist come in many different forms. At TriMedx, we have a strong history of helping all people who are in need. We have always supported local charity projects, and we sincerely believe in our mission work abroad as well.

Part of our culture is to share our experience and expertise with those who need it, but may not be able to help themselves. A little over a year ago, TriMedx was asked by the Daughters of Charity, to help out in a small rural hospital in Milot, Haiti. This hospital was sponsored by the CRUDEM (Center for the Rural Development of Milot) Foundation. With a surgical team on its way, the hospital was desperate to have some critical X-ray equipment repaired and didn't know where else to turn. TriMedx sent down a team of technicians to repair the units, and these technicians found themselves working on plumbing, electrical lines and power generators, as well. Believe it or not, we fixed most of the other problems and left with a great sense of personal and professional fulfillment. Despite the primitive conditions and outdated equipment, the people of Milot have touched our hearts and our lives in ways that are difficult to describe.

On April 25, 2001, representatives from TriMedx will be making a third trip to Milot. Once again, the people at CRUDEM need our assistance. With God's help, we will attempt to fulfill our mission. We are truly blessed to be part of an organization that has an opportunity to serve.

In the beginning we believed that we were giving the gift of our support to the people of Haiti, when, in fact, it was they who gave us so much more!
