While February 1 – 7 is National Patient Recognition Week, at TRIMEDX we constantly remind ourselves that the patient and their safety is at the heart of everything we do.
Our organizational values of innovation, excellence and our commitment to making a difference serve as a guide in how we approach our work every single day, recognizing we are at our best when we are improving the health and lives of those in our communities.
In honor of this important week, TRIMEDX Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Compliance, Denisa Lambert, recently took time to share her thoughts on how her role directly impacts patients and their safety within our clients’ health systems.
“When considering areas of study in high school and college, I aspired to have a career in healthcare. My goal was to make an impact on others in the healthcare environment. Therefore, I chose the path of nursing and public health which led me on a journey to TRIMEDX. I truly enjoy being able to make a difference in the lives of others within the Quality and Regulatory Compliance arena. This affords me the ability to impact patient safety by minimizing risk to our healthcare partners through establishing a Quality Management System. Our QMS ensures that our services meet the true needs of our customers, enabling them to provide quality care to their patients. We are also able to ensure quality service by supporting our healthcare partners through accreditation and regulatory surveys, medical device alerts and recalls, Medical Equipment Management Plans, and standardized processes and procedures.
I am incredibly privileged to do exactly what I love while improving patient safety through the quality of healthcare delivery.”
Today and every day we want to express our gratitude for the opportunity we’ve been given to directly impact the health, safety and well-being of those who matter most – the patient.
